My Consumer Review of the Makita BHP452HW 1/2 inch Hammer Drill

One of the best portable power tools that I have purchased. I required a small hammer drill with enough power to drive cement screws.

the good: its a nice gun,

the bad: the case leaves much to be desired, if you have to carry a lot of bits there is not really any good spot, things don’t fit well (like the extra battery, it doesn’t really fit in its spot)and things bounce around a lot in there. they could do a better design.

If you have a tendency to break tools you may want to purchase a SquareTrade 2-Year Electronics Warranty Plus Accident Protection.
